|Stornoway RNLI Lifeboat came to the rescue of one of Kinlochbervie's resident fishing boats the other day.|
Quoting their Facebook page: "Another long day for our volunteers yesterday. Stornoway lifeboat launched at 1530hrs to go to the aid of an 18m fishing vessel which had suffered engine failure.The casualty was in a position 10nm north of the Butt of Lewis.
Weather conditions on scene were challenging with winds of 30 knots and a large confused swell. A tow line was quickly established and a course set for Stornoway. The casualty was safely alongside at around 2300hrs."
There were no injuries to crew. Many thanks to Stornoway RNLI for permission to use their photo.
